Description
Our Sleeveless Gansy is our first Gansy produced from our Coloured Ryeland Flock which graze on our pastures beside the Erme Estuary, overlooking Mothecombe Beach. The design is inspired by the Gansy traditions of coastal fishing knitwear with the cable stitch signifying “safe passage” and the moss stitch, representing the texture of the carrageen moss seaweed on which Herring feed and symbolise optimism for a “bountiful harvest”. Slow, sustainable knitwear made from our Coloured Ryeland wool, has been grown within a regenerative farming system that puts nature at the very heart of our practices. The yarn is spun at the Natural Fibre Company in Cornwall and knitted in the British textiles heartlands in the Midlands.

I am very pleased with my Sleeveless Gansey. I love the design, colour and the quality in equal measure. It was exactly as it was depicted in the photos. The customer service was excellent and I was kept informed from the moment they had received my order to the date of despatch which was very quick. I can highly recommend.
